Free ATS Resume Checker
An ATS score estimates how reliably an applicant tracking system can read your CV. This checker runs ten structural checks — contact details, standard sections, dated roles, real detail — and an AI review of your wording, then shows exactly what to fix.

Questions people ask
What is an ATS score?
An estimate of how reliably an applicant tracking system can read your CV, plus how clearly the content is written. It is not a number any employer sees: each company’s system is set up differently. Treat it as a checklist of things worth fixing.
How is the score out of 100 worked out?
Ten structural checks are worth 75 points and an AI review of your wording is worth 40. The total is scaled to 100, so 80 means you earned 80% of the available points.
Why add a job description?
Recruiters search their system for the skills and titles in the advert. Paste the advert and the checker lists which of its important terms your CV already mentions and which it doesn’t. The score itself doesn’t change.
Is my CV stored?
No. The PDF is sent to Google’s Gemini API to extract the text and deleted as soon as it has been read (or automatically within 48 hours if something fails). Your score is returned to you and not saved.
Does a high score guarantee an interview?
No, and nobody can promise that. A high score means the structure is easy to parse and the writing is clear. Whether you are shortlisted still depends on your experience matching the job.
Which file types can I check?
PDFs with selectable text, up to 2MB. A scanned or image-only PDF will score poorly because there is little text to read — that is a real problem worth fixing before you apply.
